About me
I recently* finished my Ph.D. in theoretical computer science
at U.C. Berkeley, under the guidance of Prof. Richard Karp. I did my
undergraduate studies at Harvard University. Right now, I am
looking for a post-doc or job for next year and finishing some work in
progress that I started as a student.
Broadly speaking, I'm interested in combinatorial optimization and
approximation algorithms, especially for problems in graph
theory. I've also been working on tools for computational biology,
in particular, for doing phylogenetic reconstruction. My other
interests include machine learning, metric embeddings, applied probability, and
networks.
